Parks Associates Teams with BusinessWeek
Special Advertising Sections for Networking Coverage
Late 2003 special advertising section to examine the business case
for deploying home and mobile networks
In a nod to the importance that
many companies are placing on networking applications for the home, small
business, and mobile environments, BusinessWeek will offer
a special
advertising section November 24, 2003. The Special Sections group is teaming with
market research and consulting company Parks Associates to write the content
for this section. Parks Associates’ analyst team will examine and analyze
the business case for network deployment, particularly those for data and
multimedia distribution in and around the home and in public locations.
“We are quite excited to be selected by BusinessWeek
to write for this special section,” said
Kurt Scherf,
vice president of research. “Combining Parks Associates’ expertise in both
primary consumer and secondary industry research, the goal of this section
will be to provide readers with a very pragmatic look at the business
opportunities that exist in this space.”
This special ad section, to be published in the Fall,
will provide an in-depth examination of the drivers, opportunities, and
challenges of the home networking industry. Topics include: Defining and
Classifying Opportunities in Home Networking; Data Networks – “The Office at
Home”; Multimedia Networking: The Next Frontier; Adding Value to the “Fat
Pipe”: Services that Matter; and Extending the Reach of Wireless from the
Home and Small Office.
“We are extremely excited about our upcoming special
advertising section, ” said Stacy Sass McAnulty, Director, Worldwide Special
Advertising Sections.
