This webcast discusses how to manage the complexities associated with the changing IoT landscape and considerations for creating a robust communications and cloud infrastructure.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is disrupting markets in all product categories. Companies are adding connectivity to their products, anticipating the emergence of new value-added services, recurring revenues, and innovative business models and partnerships, many which have yet to be conceived.

Parks Associates research shows this future is knowable, to a certain extent. Significant percentages of smart home buyers prefer premium products, with advanced capabilities, even at significantly higher prices. Many of these buyers would even proactively upgrade in order to receive the promised cloud-based, value-added services with these advanced models. Therefore, creating a highly extensible IoT cloud platform would be beneficial now as well as essential to long-term success.

Planning for the future is difficult, but this webcast provides the necessary insight for short- and long-term strategies.
