Dr. Anna Demeo is the President of Savant Power. She has extensive experience in renewable energy solutions and micro grid technology as well as emerging utility models and energy markets. Dr. Demeo has consulted with businesses and universities in the U.S. and Europe and was a Visiting Professor at the Energy Center at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. She has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, an MS in Marine Bio Resources and a PhD in Engineering in the Natural Sciences from the University of Maine.

Anthony Harrison Anthony Harrison, Head of Utility Partnerships, ChargePoint

Anthony Harrison leads the Utility Partnerships team at ChargePoint. In this role, Anthony leads a team that works with utilities across North America to develop and implement utility programs to expand access to smart charging infrastructure that supports the EV driver, the host site, and the grid. Prior to ChargePoint, Anthony spent 15 years working in the renewable energy, energy storage and energy efficiency sectors for both public and private organizations. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Jose State University.

Arsham Hatambeiki serves as Senior Vice President, Product & Technology at Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI), where he is responsible for developing and overseeing corporate technology and product groups across home entertainment and IoT markets served including residential, hospitality and light commercial; as well as SaaS offerings such as nevo.ai virtual assistant platform, and QuickSet Cloud powering more than half a billion smart devices globally. Taylor Jantz-Sell Taylor Jantz-Sell, Smart Home Strategy Lead, EPA ENERGY STAR

Taylor Jantz-Sell (she/her/hers), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, (EPA) ENERGY STAR. Since 2007 Taylor has been working to advance adoption of energy efficient, high performing lighting products. Since 2017 she has also been working to leverage smart home products and services for effortless home energy management as dynamic as the market. She leads the teams behind ENERGY STAR lighting products and Smart Home Energy Management Systems (SHEMS). She has a deep passion and commitment to equity and social justice and is committed to learning and living these values in her personal life and through her work. Before settling down in Washington, DC to start a career and family, Taylor was a globetrotter. In High School she spent her spring breaks building for communities in need (from a community center in Tobago to a school in Brazil), in college she spent a Semester at Sea (meeting Desmond Tutu and Fidel Castro) and lived in Thailand.

Amit Narayan Amit Narayan, CEO, Autogrid

Amit is the Founder and CEO of AutoGrid, Inc. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Director of Smart Grid Research in Modeling & Simulation at Stanford University, where he led an interdisciplinary project related to modeling, optimization and control of the electricity grid and associated electricity markets. Prior to founding AutoGrid, Amit was the Vice President of Products at the publicly traded company Magma Design Automation, Inc. (Nasdaq: LAVA), where he led the product development and product management teams responsible for Magma’s flagship product in the design implementation area.
 
Over one third of all semiconductor chips used in consumer electronic devices — such as smart phones, blue-ray players and video games — were designed using products developed by Amit’s team at Magma. Prior to joining Magma, Amit founded Berkeley Design Automation, Inc. (BDA), a venture-backed company in analog and radio-frequency semiconductor design software and served as its founding CEO and later Vice President of Engineering, responsible for all research and product development activities, as well as customer engagements. Under Amit’s leadership, BDA saw its products adopted by over 100 semiconductor companies in the world (including 20 out of the top 25). For his work at BDA, Amit received the EDN’s “Innovation for the Year” award in 2006. Amit received his B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur and Ph.D. from University of California at Berkeley. He has published over 25 papers about design automation, holds seven U.S. patents and is an active advisor to several startup companies in the Bay Area.


Dhruva Rajendra Dhruva Rajendra, Chief Product Officer, Latch

Dhruva Rajendra is a co-founder and the Chief Product Officer at Latch, where he oversees the entire product organization as they expand LatchOS’s growing ecosystem with new software, hardware, and service products that combine Latch’s iconic design with an intuitive user experience. Throughout his career, Dhruva has built a track record of product excellence via thoughtful, trustworthy products across a range of industries experiencing rapid digital disruption.
 
As a co-founder of Latch, Dhruva was instrumental to Latch’s initial products and roadmap. Since rejoining the team in 2020, Dhruva led a reorganization designed to focus more of Latch’s resources on each of LatchOS’s core offerings, resulting in greater operational efficiency, transparency, and collaboration across the product and engineering organizations.
 
Prior to rejoining Latch, Dhurva served as CEO of Fast Rope Labs, a global product strategy consultancy. There, he helped Fortune 100 companies develop a start-up mentality for their product organizations—while simultaneously helping startups scale their product organizations like Fortune 100 companies. Under his leadership, Fast Rope Labs shipped and scaled dozens of products across real estate, fintech, healthcare, and education that are used by millions on a daily basis.
 
Previously, Dhruva served as Head of Product at Main Street Genome, a software company that optimizes restaurant operations through data-driven insights. Earlier in his career, he worked in strategy consulting for clients including Qualcomm, Alarm.com, and UnitedHealth Group.

Jenny Roehm Jenny Roehm, Senior Manager, Utility Solutions, Smart Grid Services, Schneider Electric

Jenny Roehm is part of a dynamic Schneider Electric team delivering digital energy management solutions. Their goal is to enable businesses and homeowners to truly manage their energy consumption, and work on the principle that local utilities are, and should remain, trusted advisors for their customers. Jenny works with her team to develop solutions centered around strengthening the relationship between utility and consumer to save energy and deliver resources for grid management. Her current work leverages her nearly 30 years of experience to focus on the integration of demand side resources; working with utilities and customers to integrate demand response, storage, on-site generation and energy efficiency into a single approach. Jenny Roehm has managed load control programs, worked with utilities as they implement programs and has experience conducting measurement and verification studies on energy efficiency and demand response projects.

Paul Suhey is the COO and Co-Founder of Revel, a transportation company that’s electrifying cities through charging infrastructure and shared electric vehicle fleets. Lauren Burke Lauren Burke, Sr. Director of Marketing & Development, Enel X North America

For the last several years, Lauren has advocated for sustainable businesses at the intersection of transportation and energy. Her experience lies in designing and implementing marketing strategy to drive industry transformation. Before Enel X, she led marketing and public affairs for electric vehicle and energy clients at mc² and Blue Practice, supporting clients through M&As, global sales, fundraising and regulatory development milestones. Clients included Proterra, Greenlots (acquired by Shell), Opower (acquired by Oracle), PlugShare (merged with Recargo) and others. 
 
Lauren has also garnered international experience as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, serving in Albania. There, she worked with local organizations on environmental and human rights-based projects. Most notably, she co-created a documentary on the discourse of gender and employment in Albania, which premiered on one of Albania’s leading talk shows and was recognized by U.S. Ambassador Arvizu. 
 
She has also served as an advisor to Young Professionals in Energy. She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and a BA cum laude from UC Berkeley in Fine Art.

Throughout his career, Bob has worked with numerous utilities and energy providers to digitally transform their business through the application of advanced customer analytics and supporting technology. As a consultant with firms such as at KPMG, UMS Group, and onVector, he worked with over 120 utilities worldwide, leading data-driven transformation initiatives across customer operations, infrastructure, and resource planning areas. Bob also served as Senior Vice President of Market Development at Innowatts, an in AMI-enabled analytics and load forecasting provider focused on the competitive ‘retail energy’ sector. Just prior to joining Grid4C, Bob led the development of the “Digital Utility Collaborative” for TMG Consulting, a 100+ member research and best practices community focused on advancing the range of AI-enabled customer technology solutions shaping the future of utility digitalization.

As the Head of Services & Retail Energy Partnerships at Google, Brian works with DERMS providers, Retail Energy Providers, Distributed Energy Resource companies and others to help those organizations and their customers deploy solutions focused on load management, conservation, and customer engagement through Google Nest's products and services.

Divesh Gupta has been with the Exelon family of companies for almost 15 years.  He currently serves as Director of Strategy for BGE’s Utility of the Future efforts.  His team develops and implements both long term vision and strategy as well as near term innovative next steps for BGE’s customers – from electric vehicle infrastructure, to Smart City tech, to community solar, energy storage and more. 
 
Previously, Divesh led the Energy Solutions Team for Constellation, pairing efficiency and clean energy tech with creative on-bill funding through competitive supply agreements.  He has also worked as Chief of Staff for the President of Constellation Retail, where he assisted in driving growth and strategy.  Before joining the retail business, Divesh was an attorney for Exelon Corp., providing counsel and representation on regulatory activities involving its competitive wholesale and retail businesses.
 
Divesh serves on the Board for Baltimore’s historic St. Frances Academy, the oldest continuously operating, predominantly African-American Catholic High School, established in 1828 by the first Oblate Sisters of Providence.  He also serves on the Foundation Board for Bowie State University, Maryland’s oldest Historically Black College/University.  He currently also functions as First Vice President for the Maryland-District of Columbia Utilities Association.  Divesh earned his B.A. in Policy and Sociology from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina.

Jonathan Houle Jonathan Houle, Product Marketing Manager, ecobee Energy

Jonathan has spent his career working to help energy consumers save on their bills and reduce their environmental impacts. As Product Market Manager, Energy at ecobee, Jonathan works with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to best position ecobee’s products and solutions with both consumers and utility clients. Most recently, Jonathan was a key member in bringing to market eco+, the most advance smart thermostat software for energy management in market.
 
Prior to ecobee, Jonathan held various role at Toronto Hydro, CLEAResult and Direct Energy. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. In his spare time, he likes to spend time outdoors cycling and skiing and hopes that his work in DSM will maintain these activities for many generations to come.

As CEO of Swell Energy, a home energy and grid services company, Suleman directs Swell's customer acquisition, project development, project finance and grid services efforts. In the decade prior to launching Swell, Suleman worked at the nexus between renewable energy and structured finance, productizing solar and energy storage for the residential and commercial markets. In this capacity, Suleman helped establish new energy divisions within various companies including Tesla, NRG and FirstSolar, and also led the development of several renewable energy startups. Suleman previously worked on the structured credit products desk at Citigroup, as well as within Citigroup's investment banking M&A division and Prudential's alternative investments group. Suleman also served as Senior Advisor to the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission under the Obama administration's initiative to safeguard against future financial crises. Prior to his capital markets work, Suleman worked within the microfinance sector with global and regional organizations including the UNDP and the Zimbabwe Association of Microfinance Institutions. Suleman has an academic background in financial engineering and political science and serves as advisor to various energy access and water reclamation initiatives.


Brett Lasher Brett Lasher, Executive Director, New Growth & Development, Cox

Brett Lasher is an innovation leader who heads the Energy & Smart Resources theme for Cox Communications’ New Growth & Development (NG&D) group.  In this role, he is responsible for ideating around new opportunities (both B2B and B2C) in electricity, water, gas and oil and then working to de-risk and commercialize these initiatives.  One of the most relevant initiatives which his team is currently developing is a next-generation home energy management system focused on optimization and automation. Prior to his work in NG&D, Brett spent time at Cox in both the Corporate Strategy and M&A functions.
 
In addition to his professional life, Brett shares a passion for improving K-12 education in urban communities.  He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Kindezi Schools, a network of charter schools around Atlanta and is a member of the Young Professionals for Excellence in Education (YPEE).
 
Brett holds a B.S.Econ in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a M.B.A. from Duke University.


Peter Lilienthal Peter Lilienthal, Global Microgrid Lead, HOMER Energy by UL

Dr. Peter Lilienthal is the CEO of HOMER Energy. Since 1993, he has been the developer of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s HOMER® hybrid power optimization software, which has been used by over 250,000 energy practitioners in 193 countries. NREL has licensed HOMER Energy to be the sole world-wide commercialization licensee to distribute and enhance the HOMER model.
 
Dr. Lilienthal was the Senior Economist with International Programs at NREL from 1990 – 2007. He was one of the creators of NREL’s Village Power Program. He has a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He has been active in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency since 1978. This has included designing and teaching courses at the university level, project development of independent power projects, and consulting to industry and regulators. His expertise is in the economic and financial analysis of renewable and micro-grid projects.

Joel Miller Joel Miller, Principal Supervisor, DTE Energy

Joel Miller is a Principal Supervisor for Energy Efficiency at DTE Energy where he led the development and commercialization of the DTE Insight mobile app and Energy Bridge.  Since 2020, Joel is now leading Residential Marketing for MIGreenPower.  DTE Energy’s MIGreenPower renewable provides cost effective options for customers to support even more renewable energy in Michigan.
 
Joel’s primary focus are those processes and tools that gain deep insight into customer behaviors, market potential, and the application of emerging technology that delivers an excellent customer experience.


Sce Pike Sce Pike, CEO and Founder, IOTAS

Sce started her career in the 90s in Silicon Valley, designing and developing the 1st ecommerce sites for GM, HP, Blue Cross and others. Later she helped to pioneer Smart Phones at Palm, Qualcomm, and Amp'd Mobile. In 2007, Sce started her own company, Citizen, which initially focused on Smart Phone products and later on Internet of Things (IoT) products such as Connected Car, Connected Health. Sce successfully sold Citizen to Ernst & Young. While developing IoT products for these industries at Citizen, she realized that there was a lack of enterprise-level Smart Apartment solution designed specifically for the Multi-Family-Home Industry. In 2014, she founded IOTAS, a turn-key, simple smart apartment solutions company to help the MFH industry increase revenue and save costs. Laurent Schmitt joined Ossiaco in early 2021 as Head of Utilities and European Initiatives. Mr. Wajsgras is active in multiple community and civic initiatives.  He was the founding member of the Algonkian Youth Lacrosse Club that was organized to bring competitive lacrosse to the community.  The organization currently serves over 300 boys and girls between the ages of 8-15 years old.
