Saul J. Berman Saul J. Berman is the Global Lead Strategy Partner for the Media and Entertainment Practice as well as a Global Strategy & Change Services Leader at IBM Global Business Services (GBS). Prior to joining IBM, Saul was the Global Strategic Change Leader at PwC Consulting. He was also previously with The Boston Consulting Group, and a divisional Vice President with Broadway Department Stores and an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Southern California. Dr. Berman has more than 25 years of consulting experience advising senior management of large corporate and start-up organizations. He has directed engagements addressing issues of strategy, organization, and operations. He has worked extensively on issues of competitive positioning, differentiation, new business plans & strategies, new business models, growth, operational & cost improvement, operations/manufacturing strategy, organizational design and enterprise transformation. His clients have included most of the major media companies as well as internet companies, telecommunication companies, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers and automotive companies in the United States, Japan, Europe and Australia. Dr. Berman holds a Ph.D. in Management and Information Systems and a MBA in Production Systems and Operations Research from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University in New York. Andreas Mueller-Schubert Andreas Mueller-Schubert brings more than 12 years of telecommunications experience to his current role as General Manager of Global Solutions at Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft TV division. In this position, Mr. Mueller-Schubert is responsible for the deployment of all worldwide customer projects using Microsoft’s TV solutions platform. He is responsible for directing approximately 170 solution experts worldwide and for managing Microsoft TV’s internal and external system integrator partners within their customer deployment sector. Prior to joining Microsoft TV at the end of 2006, Mr. Mueller-Schubert served in several senior management positions within Siemens’ telecommunications division in Germany and Canada. He is most notably recognized for initiating the Siemens’ telecommunication business in Canada. Andreas Mueller-Schubert holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering as well as a bachelor of business degree in business administration. Didier Zwierski Didier Zwierski serves as Senior Vice President of Philips Americas as well as General Manager and Technology and Development Manager of Philips Home Networks. Prior to joining Philips in 2006, Didier was employed with Thomson where he headed up Thomson’s IPTV decoder business from 2004 to 2006 and led the Thomson Digital TV Decoders research and development teams for Europe and the Asia Pacific region from 2001-2004. Early in his career Didier spent time in France and the Netherlands managing research and development teams focused on analog and digital television technologies and cable networks equipment. Didier holds an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and a doctorate in high-energy nuclear physics. |

Steinhoff Dr. Fee Steinhoff was born in 1974 in Duisburg/Germany. She studied Business Administration (Technical University Berlin), earned a Master of Business & Engineering (Steinbeis University Berlin) and received her Ph.D. from the Technical University Berlin. Her research interests are in the area of innovation marketing, customer orientation, customer integration and radical innovation - topics which she also teaches in executive programs. Kirk Munroe As Director, Product Management and Marketing, Kirk Munroe is responsible for Radialpoint’s Value-Added Services (VAS) management and delivery solution for Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Radialpoint services the world’s largest telecommunication and cable TV-based ISPs. Singu Srinivas Singu co-founded HiWired following twelve years of leadership experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications and media, where he witnessed the pain and frustration felt by personal technology users who lacked convenient access to support. Prior to launching HiWired, Singu was a relationship partner leading the Services Strategy practice at IBM Business Consulting Services. While at IBM, Singu advised electronics clients like Philips, Kodak, Cisco and IBM. He also served as the director of strategy development for IBM Global Services, Big Blue’s $48B services arm. In addition, Singu’s background includes four years working with start-up technology and content companies in Europe. A native New Yorker, Singu has adopted Boston as home, where he spends much of his leisure time restoring his family's 135-year-old, historic house. Dr. Susan Schwarze Dr. Susan Schwarze is Marketing Director of ProSyst Software and represents ProSyst Software (prosyst.com) in international consortia. Philippe Bornstein An expert in digital telecommunications for professionals as consumers, Philippe Bornstein brings over 16 years of varied experience that covers industrial design, consulting and entrepreneurialism to Netineo, which he founded in 2007 and is dedicated on interactive live broadcasting on the Internet. Prior to establishing Netineo, Philippe was vice president of Netsize Group, an international specialist in SMS mobile solutions and mobile Internet. At Netsize, he was responsible for IT services, relations with mobile operators, marketing, and business development, first for the French business unit, then for the whole Netsize group, and eventually he oversaw all non-European operations, including USA, Mexico, Japan, China and Australia. Phil was responsible for the establishment of several strategic partnerships and deployed numerous convergent web/mobile projects for large international companies including Google, Kodak, DivX, MTV, Yamaha, Sharp, Tom-online and Lagardere. In 2000, Philippe created FreeConso, a direct marketing Internet start-up financed by Europatweb, a famous French VC. From 1990 to 1996, he was manager in retail, finance, multimedia and energy fields in major international consultancy firms such as Accenture and Ernst & Young. Richard Bullwinkle Richard Bullwinkle is well known in the digital networking entertainment industry from his previous roles at Digital Networks North America, Inc. (DNNA) and TiVo. As TiVo's chief evangelist and a senior member of TiVo's product marketing team, Bullwinkle helped create and develop the TiVo products, and then played an instrumental role in helping create the well-known publicity around the TiVo products and brand. Bullwinkle joined Mediabolic (subsequently bought by Macrovision) from DNNA, a wholly owned subsidiary of D&M Holdings U.S., Inc. and the parent company of Rio Audio and ReplayTV. As a senior member of Rio Audio's Product Marketing team, he helped create and market some of the most popular MP3 players in the US. Robert Rodenbucher Robert Rodenbucher aged 47, is appointed Director of Business Development at AwoX, the European leader in middleware technologies for the aggregation of digital entertainment contents on a home network. Dr. Paul Entwistle With over 10 years’ payTV experience at Pace Micro Technology and a responsibility for intellectual property, Paul remains passionately involved in the evolution of the personal video recorder (PVR) and the technologies that will enable it. From designing set-top-boxes for mass production through to advanced technology pioneering PVR in the late 90s and on to the connected home and triple-play, working with both networking and VoIP technologies. Stephen Farmer Stephen Farmer leads Motorola’s video business within the Home & Networks Mobility Division in EMEA. Tasked with driving the IPTV set top box business and ensuring success for Motorola’s catalogue of video products, Stephen is responsible for the development of key strategies and customer initiatives in the region. Stephen joined Motorola in January 2007 bringing a wealth of video and technology experience. He previously held a role managing the IPTV business at Scientific Atlanta, part of Cisco, where he was heavily involved with wins for both Microsoft and non-Microsoft products with customers such as T-Online, Swisscom and T-Com Croatia. His background includes four years at Pace Microtechnology where he was responsible for the development of the IPTV business in Europe; he maintained a significant involvement in the early trials of IPTV with Telefonica and Belgacom. Dr. Ofer Weintraub Dr. Ofer Weintraub is Chief Technology Officer of Orca Interactive. With extensive expertise in managing research and development and in software consulting in the telecommunications and hi-tech industries, Dr.Weintraub joined Orca in November 2005 to take on the role of CTO. Kevin Meagher Kevin was formerly a Group Captain in the Royal Air Force where he worked on combat aircraft such as the Harrier and Tornado. With the advent of the Internet, Kevin quickly recognised the potential of the Internet and began to look at how ISP based server platforms could be used to network systems and appliances in the mass market. So, in the middle of what was a very successful career, he left the safety of the large corporate environment to form Intamac. Martin Dräger Concepts and creation are skills he got to know by heart in his studies as a design engineer in Hamburg. These studies involved international work for ACI-Carron Detroit, Michigan, US and p.a.d. of Amerika North Carolina. He completed his studies as a certified engineer in 1999. Back in Germany he combined this conceptional skills with project-management experience while working for reknowned agencies as Kabel New Media in Germany. Successfully implementing large-scale internet projects for clients as BMW both, refined and broadened his understanding of brand communication. The idea to fuse new media technology with innovative business concepts for communication soon became more detailed. Together with Frank Algermissen, he turned his vision into a viable business strategy and creative ideas into compelling brand concepts for viral marketing. 2002 Martin Dräger and his partner founded their own brand by establishing the agency Dialog Solutions GmbH in Hamburg. |

Nick Hunn Nick Hunn is Chief Technology Officer of EZURiO Ltd, a company dedicated to short range wireless technology. Over the past 15 years, Nick has been responsible for designing communications products that enable mobile communications, from one of the first Ethernet PCMCIA cards, through a gamut of GSM data solutions to today’s wireless products and platforms. Prior to his involvement in the PC industry, Nick developed a diverse range of products, ranging from robot vision systems to laser gyroscopes and semiconductor processing equipment. He was also responsible for a world leading range of sperm and embryo freezers which was awarded the Queen’s Award for Technology. Nick is a frequent contributor to explaining technology trends, both in print and at conferences. Over the years he has appeared in print on cryobiology, plasma chemistry, surface mount manufacturing and communications. He speaks regularly throughout Europe on the future of mobile communications. At EZURiO he is concentrating on turning short range wireless standards into products that are understandable, usable and cost effective. In particular he is concentrating on Wibree as the enabling technology for a new generation of personal healthcare devices. He sits on a number of working groups within the Bluetooth SIG and is also an executive director of the Mobile Data Association, promoting all forms of wireless data communication. Fernando Gil de Bernabé Mr. Gil de Bernabé is the Managing Director for the Worldwide Strategy Practice in the Internet Business Solutions Group.
