Executives from Aetna Digital, Geisinger Health System, Sharecare Inc., and UnitedHealthcare will examine new digital health technologies as part of the Internet of Things (IoT) phenomenon and the transformational impact of these connected solutions on the U.S. healthcare system. “The U.S. healthcare industry is currently at a crossroads,” said Jennifer Kent, Director, Research Quality & Product Development, Parks Associates. “Many policy and funding decisions are in flux, but the consumerization trends will continue. Connected health solutions can facilitate key use cases favorable to consumers, including remote health monitoring, aging in place, and independent living.
