Steve Boom
Senior Vice President, Broadband Access & Bundled Services,
Yahoo! Inc.As senior vice president, broadband
access and bundled services, Steve Boom manages the teams
focused on developing compelling, bundled premium services
and deep partnerships with leading broadband providers,
including SBC and Verizon in the U.S., BT in the U.K., and
Rogers Cable in Canada. Boom also oversees Yahoo!’s Digital
Home strategy, which aims to extend Yahoo! beyond the
desktop and onto networked devices throughout the home.
During his more than five-year tenure with Yahoo!, Boom
has held several senior management positions. Most recently
he served as senior vice president, strategic initiatives,
where he was charged with developing and implementing
corporate strategy in emerging technologies. Prior to that
he led Yahoo!’s Enterprise Solutions initiative where he had
global responsibility for the company’s delivery of
solutions to the enterprise market. Between 1998 and 2002,
Boom was based in Yahoo!’s London office, the company’s
European headquarters. While there, he launched the European
operations of the Enterprise Solutions division and served
as its managing director. Prior to this role, he was Yahoo!
Europe’s business development director, responsible for
strategic alliances and new business models for Yahoo!'s
core consumer operations, with a particular focus on the
European telecommunications and financial services markets.
Before coming to Yahoo!, Boom was an attorney with the
Venture Law Group in Silicon Valley, where he was
responsible for advising high-tech clients such as Yahoo!,
Intel, WhoWhere?, and Moai Technologies.
Boom holds bachelor of arts and science degrees from
Stanford University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard

John Burke
Corporate Vice President & GM Consumer Solutions
Business, Connected Home Business, Motorola, Inc.
John Burke is corporate vice president and general manager
of the Consumer Solutions Business for Motorola Broadband.
In this role, Burke is responsible for driving Motorola
Broadband’s focus on retail and consumer-direct distribution
channels, and to expand the company’s product portfolio,
enabling Motorola Broadband to bring new and innovative
products into consumers’ homes.
Burke previously served as the corporate vice president
and general manager of the IP Communication Gateways group
for Motorola Broadband. In this role, Burke was responsible
for the business, which enabled operators to meet consumer
demand for new IP applications, such as wireless home
networking and streaming audio.
Prior to this role, Burke served as vice president and
general manager of the Cable Modem Group within the IP
Network Systems business unit of Motorola Broadband.
Motorola is the cable modem market leader with approximately
13 million modems shipped to date.
Burke has been with the Company for over 15 years,
serving in positions of increasing responsibility in
marketing, business development, product management and
finance.
Burke holds a master’s degree in business administration
from St. Joseph's University and a bachelor’s degree in

Kevin Corbett
VP & CTO,
Digital Home Group, Intel CorporationKevin
Corbett is the visionary, architect, and strategist behind
Intel Corporation’s digital home initiative. Corbett
believes PCs, consumer electronics devices, and digital
content services will offer exciting new consumer
experiences. They should all work seamlessly together so
that people can enjoy their photos, music, movies, TV,
games, and sports on any device from anywhere in, around and
outside the home.
Kevin Corbett is vice president and chief technology
officer for the Digital Home Group at Intel. Corbett is
responsible for helping to accelerate the development of
interoperable products and content services that will
deliver these exciting new consumer experiences. Corbett is
working with companies of all sizes across the computing,
consumer electronics, and content industries to create open
industry standards and technologies that will foster new
usage models for consumers and new business models for OEMs
and digital media services.
Corbett led strategic planning for Intel’s chipset
business. He drove the integrated graphics vision for Intel
and many other key platform initiatives. Intel is now the
largest worldwide shipper of PC graphics chips as a result
of this vision. Later he went on to lead the marketing and
planning for all of Intel’s Desktop platform silicon
including processors and chipset products. In this role he
drove the vision behind the new ‘*T’ technologies and led
the desktop platform and usage model strategies that
resulted in the Intel digital home and Intel digital office
visions.
Corbett has a reputation for building new ecosystems
based on industry standards. He has led the development of
many open standard based ecosystems like USB, USB II, PCI,
AGP, AGP II, PCI-Express, all important advancements of the
PC platform architecture. Corbett’s most recent
accomplishment was the creation of the Digital Living
Network Alliance. Corbett was the visionary and pioneer that
worked closely with PC, CE, and mobile handheld industries
to build this critical initiative for interoperability among
these devices within the digital home network.
Corbett held a variety of positions at Intel including
roles in sales, marketing, and strategic planning before
being named as an Intel Vice President in January 2003 and
then Digital Home Group’s CTO in January 2004. Prior to
joining Intel in 1992, Corbett worked for Abbott
Laboratories in a variety of positions including business
planning and engineering. |

Charlie Giancarlo
Chief Technology Officer, Cisco Systems, Inc.;
President, Cisco-Linksys, LLCAs chief
technology officer, Charles Giancarlo plays a key role in
contributing to and communicating Cisco’s technology
strategy and vision. In addition, he holds the senior
leadership role for two groups, Voice Technology and Global
Government Solutions. In another key role, Giancarlo is
president of Cisco-Linksys, LLC, an independent division of
Cisco providing wired and wireless products for the high
growth consumer and SOHO networking market. Cisco-Linksys is
the home networking leader, with a market share of more than
50% and revenues of over $500 million. Linksys is expanding
its business internationally and among Service Providers, as
well as continuing to build market share among the company’s
core users. Giancarlo also co-chairs the Cisco Enterprise
Business Council and is responsible for developing and
executing Cisco’s business strategies for this important
customer segment. Previously, he ran the Cisco Service
Provider Business Council, directing a cross-functional
executive team focused on helping Service Providers make the
transition to new packet-based services and infrastructures.
Earlier at Cisco, Giancarlo ran the Commercial Line of
Business, developing leading-edge high volume networking
products and driving Cisco brand awareness among companies
of all sizes. During his tenure, Cisco’s stackable switching
and access routing brand shares grew significantly and Cisco
led the industry with award-winning wireless LAN and
stackable Layer 3 Ethernet switch introductions. Giancarlo
joined Cisco in December 1994 and shortly thereafter became
vice president of business development, successfully
developing Cisco’s merger and acquisition strategy and
practice. In this position he played an instrumental role in
Cisco’s first 18 acquisitions and 20 investments. He then
moved on to become senior vice president of global
alliances, building the organization responsible for
developing an ecosystem of strategic alliances with
companies such as IBM, Accenture, Microsoft and Sprint to
enable the Internet industry worldwide. Giancarlo came to
Cisco through the acquisition of Kalpana, Inc., the pioneer
in Ethernet switching, where he was vice president of
marketing and corporate development. He was also a cofounder
and vice president of marketing for Adaptive Corporation,
which developed the industry’s first asynchronous transfer
mode (ATM) product for the LAN market. While with Adaptive,
Giancarlo founded the ATM Forum, a successful alliance of
over 600 companies focused on the development of ATM
technology. He also holds multiple patents in the areas of
ATM and voice technologies. Giancarlo holds an MBA from
Harvard and MS and BS degrees in electrical engineering from
the University of California at Berkeley and Brown
University, respectively. |

Tina Sharkey
Senior Vice President of Network & Community Programming,
America Online, Inc.Tina Sharkey oversees
the design, development, and programming of the AOL network
– which includes AOL.com, AIM, and other Web properties that
attract a total of more than 100 million monthly visitors –
as well as the AOL Welcome Screen, the window into the AOL
service for more than 22 million paying members. In
addition, Tina manages community across AOL and the Web and
the social-networking initiatives and consumer experience
for AIM.
Prior to this role, Tina oversaw the successful
development of a strategic programming approach called Life
Management, which includes areas on the service such as
Personal Finance, Bill Pay, Parenting, Research & Learn,
Homework Help, AOL Food, Living, and Diet & Fitness.
Recognizing that many AOL members must balance work,
families, and households, Tina led the creation of a suite
of solutions that help make members’ lives easier. One of
the most successful was AOL Bill Pay, the #1 online
financial activity by AOL members that lets members pay,
track, view, and manage their bills online, and the Money
Coach program, which is part of the most visited personal
finance site on the Web, with participation from more than
one million AOL members. Another success was AOL Food, which
partners with Time, Inc, to build an extensive database and
online tools for home cooks. Tina led the integration of
more than 17,500 recipes from leading publications such as
Real Simple, Food & Wine, Southern Living,
Cooking Light, Coastal Living, Sunset,
and Health. This December, Tina and her partners at
Time, Inc. were recognized with the first ever Time Warner
Chairman’s Award for Collaboration for her work on AOL Food.
Tina also pioneered the America Online Chief Everything
Officer award, which highlights achievements of family
managers who do it all. Maria Shriver was the first
recipient of this annual award. Tina was also selected as a
distinguished guest and speaker at the 2004 California
Governor's Conference for her continued efforts on behalf of
women and families across America. And she has held
prominent speaking roles on women and technology at
conferences including Women in Communication, Women in New
Media, Wharton Media Conference, and Working Mother.
Before coming to AOL, Tina was a co-founder of iVillage,
the pioneering online community for women, and served as its
Senior Vice President of Programming and Chief Community
Architect. She was also Group President of Sesame Workshop's
Online Services, where she created the award-winning Sesame
Street interactive media business, and collaborated with
Barry Diller on a new home shopping channel, Q2, a division
of QVC, where she served as Vice President of Marketing and
Programming.
Tina helped launch the Adobe Acrobat and New York 1
brands while at Frankfurt Balkind, where she also managed
corporate brand strategies for Time Warner, QVC, and Sony.
She was a principal at Majestic Partners, a media and
technology consulting firm in New York, where her clients
included the New York Times Digital and Cisneros Television
Group.
Tina’s many charitable and educational activities include
membership on the Dean's Council at the University of
Pennsylvania and the Board of Sister to Sister. She is a
founding board member of Baby Buggy and a judge for the
Smithsonian Institution's New Media Innovation Awards. Most
recently, Tina was selected as an Aspen Institute Henry
Crown Fellow, which engages the next generation of leaders
in the challenge of community-spirited leadership. |

Joe Belfiore
General Manager, Windows eHome,
Microsoft CorporationJoe Belfiore is the general
manager of the Windows eHome Division, responsible for
development and business planning for Windows XP Media
Center and Media Center Extender devices. A huge consumer
advocate, Joe believes that the Media Center vision and
mission will revolutionize the way people think about and
use personal computers-- transforming them from
mostly-productivity devices to the primary entertainment hub
for digital convergence in the home.
Before moving to the eHome division, Joe acted as product
unit manager for the Windows User Experience team throughout
the planning and development of Windows XP. In that job, Joe
was responsible for the overall user experience of
Windows-—both as a manager of the engineering and design
team that created most of the Windows XP user interface, and
also as a key driver of positive user experience across the
Windows division.
Joe began his career at Microsoft as a 1990 college hire
from Stanford, as a program manager on OS/2. Shortly
afterwards, he drove the design of the first Windows NT user
interface, then became the lead PM for the UI of “Chicago”
(Win95), and then acted as group program manager for IE 4
and Windows 2000 User Interface before his work on Windows
XP. |

Prior to founding OpenPeak, Mr. Gittleman was chairman
and CEO of StorageApps Inc., the number two global storage
virtualization software company (as ranked by
Gartner/Dataquest), which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard in

Bill Healy
Sr. Vice President, Product Strategy & Marketing,
Hitachi Global Storage TechnologiesBill Healy is the senior vice president
of product strategy and marketing for Hitachi Global Storage
Technologies, headquartered in San Jose, California.
In this role, Mr. Healy has company-wide responsibility
for product strategy, portfolio planning, marketing and
competitive intelligence, and new business opportunities. In
addition to defining and prioritizing Hitachi GST’s product
portfolio and future product strategies, Mr. Healy is
responsible for all inbound and outbound marketing
activities.
Prior to this assignment, Mr. Healy was senior vice
president of Hitachi’s Consumer and Commercial hard disk
drives. He managed product development, integrated market
planning, marketing and strategy for desktop, mobile and
emerging market hard disk drives. Previously, he was general
manager of mobile hard drive products for Hitachi,
responsible for managing the company’s 2.5-inch and 1.8-inch
businesses.
Before joining Hitachi, Mr. Healy was a key contributor
to IBM's Storage Technology Division for more than a decade,
where he held two major roles within the company -- managing
Storage Technology Division’s mobile business as well as
being the division’s Vice President of Marketing. Prior to
that, between 1999 and 2001, he managed all of the
division’s product segments, including desktop, mobile,
server and Microdrive hard disk drives. He was also
responsible for launching the Microdrive product line for
consumer storage applications in 1999.
From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Healy was the director of mobile
products for IBM Storage Technology Division, a time during
which IBM achieved record levels of profitability. In 1994,
he was director of IBM's desktop storage business. From 1992
to 1994, he served as the director of business and product
planning for IBM’s mobile and desktop hard disk drive
storage operation. During the late eighties and early
nineties, Mr. Healy helped develop the low-end small form
factor storage business and led efforts to pioneer IBM’s HDD
technology entry into the OEM business.
In the eighties, he served as manager of planning for
IBM's entry-level storage products. This position led to
additional management responsibilities within IBM's storage
business, including an assignment as assistant to the
president of the storage division.
Before joining IBM Storage Technology Division, Mr. Healy
held a number of development and management positions, from
large systems processors micro-programming to test and field
support positions in the minicomputer systems arena. He has
also managed competitive analysis and development staffs.
Healy joined IBM as a micro-programmer in Kingston, New
York. He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical
engineering and a master of science degree in computer

Peter Lee

protection efforts. He recently was an executive media
industry consultant for Disney and Fox. Prior to this he was

insertion and content provider) and the global development
executive for broadcast and advertising at IBM. He has an MS

Lou Lenzi

management and engineering for the Home Networking
Accessories business within the Connectivity Business Unit

electronics products.
Lou is responsible for the design, development, and
manufacturing of Thomson’s line of home networking and
accessories, a range of over 2000 SKUs sold at retail
outlets worldwide under the RCA, Thomson, Jensen, and
Acoustic Research brands.
Lou began his career with Thomson in 1988 and has held a
variety of positions in product development, product
management, design, strategic planning, and new business
development. He has been involved in a leadership role in
many of Thomson’s initiatives into new consumer products and

Paul Marino
Vice President and General Manager of Connectivity, Philips
SemiconductorsPaul Marino is vice president and
general manager of Philips Semiconductors’ connectivity
business line. In this role he is responsible for overseeing
the breadth of wireless connectivity technologies such as
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and UWB, and wired connectivity
technologies such as USB and IEEE 1394.
Before joining Philips, Marino spent 18 years with
Motorola, both in the United States and Israel, where he
held different technical and business positions. He most
recently served as vice president and director of the
digital signal processing (DSP) platforms organization at
Motorola.

Patrick Moorhead

Moorhead joined AMD in 2000 as vice president of desktop
and mobile strategic marketing for the Computation Products
Group at AMD. One year later, he assumed the position of
vice president of customer advocacy, leading AMD’s ongoing
programs to put end users at the forefront of the industry’s
technology discussions.
Prior to joining AMD, Moorhead held a variety of
marketing leadership positions spanning consumer and
enterprise computer hardware, software, and services at
Compaq Computer Corporation, AT&T, and the AltaVista
Company. Moorhead holds a bachelor of science in business

Steve Red
Principal & Chief Creative Officer, Red
Tettemer, Inc.Steve has spent the last 20 years in
this business. He’s an art director who writes and a
creative director who has finally learned to creatively
direct, instead of just doing it himself. As co-founder of
Red Tettemer, Steve has helped shape a wide array of media
and entertainment brands. He believes people are smart and
advertising should be too and that a true martini is made
with gin. Some day he’ll settle down and start painting
again, which is what his dad says he should have done all
along.

Greg Wilfahrt
Executive Vice President and Co-Founder, SMS.ac
Greg Wilfahrt is executive vice president and co-founder of
SMS.ac. Mr. Wilfahrt heads the corporate communication and
public relation efforts at SMS.ac and assists in developing
the company's strategic roadmap. Prior to his arrival at
SMS.ac, Mr. Wilfahrt was vice president of public relations
at MP3.com, a publicly traded company that was acquired by
Vivendi Universal in mid-2001. He also served as senior vice
president of communications at Ubrandit.com, another a
publicly traded company.
Mr. Wilfahrt earlier founded WWC, an award-winning
advertising, public relations and marketing agency that was
sold in 1999. He has addressed members of Congress on
several occasions on issues related to the distribution of
digital content over the Internet and most recently, on
content deliverable to mobile devices. He holds a bachelor's
degree in journalism from San Diego State University. |

Jim Williams
Vice President of Technology, Motion Picture Association
of America (MPAA)In June 2002, Jim Williams joined
the Motion Picture Association of America’s (MPAA) Office of
Technology as vice president, television and video systems
standards. In this role, Jim leads the Association’s
participation in a broad range of television and video
engineering standards-setting activities, and works
proactively with the consumer electronics and computer
industries to safeguard motion picture content in future
products.
Prior to joining the MPAA, Jim spent nearly 20 years with
Hughes/DIRECTV, advancing from a skilled hardware, software
and chip designer to a seasoned entertainment executive
responsible for up to 300 employees and up to 70 development
engineers. In 1997, he led the business start-up of
DIRECTV Japan, the fastest full-scale direct broadcast
satellite start-up in history. Jim returned to the United
States to lead the first nationwide HDTV service in 1998.
Starting in 1999, Jim led the DIRECTV set-top box
development team.
Jim holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical
engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles
and a Master of Science degree in computer engineering from
California State University, Long Beach.
Jim holds 9 patents in digital television technologies
with another 9 patents pending. |

Udi Yuhjtman
Vice President, Business Development,
Jungo Software TechnologiesUdi Yuhjtman possesses
years of senior management experience in developing and
promoting new technologies and has been with Jungo from the
company’s early years. Jungo develops residential/SOHO
gateway software for broadband CPE manufacturers, and Jungo-powered
gateways are currently deployed in North America, Asia, and
Europe.
Prior to joining Jungo, Mr. Yuhjtman served as the vice
president of engineering at Chip Express, where he was
personally responsible for spearheading and managing all
prototyping activities, engineering services, and customer
support. While at Chip Express, he approved the design and
production of over 1000 ASICs, and his contribution helped
Chip Express grow from a start-up to a $40-million revenue
generating company. Mr. Yuhjtman holds a BSc in computer
science from the Technion, Haifa. |

Jeff Abramowitz, Senior Director of Marketing,
Broadcom Corp. Jeff Abramowitz is the
senior director of marketing in Broadcom’s Home and
Wireless Networking Business Unit. Since joining the
company in January 2002, he has led Wi-Fi strategy,
business development, product management, product
marketing, and customer support as the business has
gone from new market entrant to market share leader.
Prior to Broadcom, Mr. Abramowitz was the
director of the PRISM/home product line for
Intersil’s Wireless Networking Division. He joined
Intersil in June 2000 through the company’s
acquisition of NoWires Needed BV, where he had been
vice president for worldwide marketing and was
responsible for the company’s Silicon Valley
operations.
Previously, Mr. Abramowitz was the director of
product management for 3Com’s Wireless Connectivity
Division. He served over five years in various
marketing roles at 3Com. Prior to joining 3Com, Mr.
Abramowitz was the Radio Systems Group engineering
manager for CellNet Data Systems, a wireless data
communication systems company.
Mr. Abramowitz helped found the Wireless LAN
Association (WLANA) in 1996 and served as its
president from 1996 through 2001. In 1999, he helped
found what is now known as the Wi-Fi Alliance, the
organization responsible for certifying and
promoting interoperability among wireless LAN
products.
Mr. Abramowitz earned an MBA from Stanford
University, a master of science degree in electrical
engineering from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and a bachelor of science degree in
mechanical engineering from the University of
Pennsylvania. |

Eric Anderson
Chairman of the Board, 1394 Trade Association
Dr. Anderson has worked on IEEE 1394 for nine years,
including seven years on the board of the 1394 TA
and two years as chairman. On behalf of the TA he
has presented worldwide on 1394 in general, on
specific protocols such as SBP-2, and has
participated extensively in interoperability events.
Dr. Anderson also contributed to key 1394 standards
such as 1394a, 1394b, Open HCI, and SBP-2. He is an
engineering manager at Apple Computer and a member
of IEEE and ACM. |

Eric Broockman
Chief Executive Officer, AlereonMr.
Broockman serves Alereon as chief executive officer.
He comes to the company from Legerity where he
served as vice president and general manager of
voice over broadband and executive in charge of the
company's global marketing organization. Mr.
Broockman has more than 23 years of leadership
experience in the fabless semiconductor and
communication IC industries, with specific
experience in managing product development, customer
and strategic marketing, branding, marketing
communications, and public relations.
Before joining Legerity, Mr. Broockman served as
CEO and president of Alchemy Semiconductor Inc.,
where he was instrumental in the fabless
semiconductor company's successful spin-out from
Cadence Design System's Austin Microprocessor Design
Group, and the company's introduction of the world's
highest performance, lowest power Internet edge
processor system-on-a-chip (SOC). Prior to his
tenure at Alchemy, Mr. Broockman held senior
management positions at Cirrus Logic, where he was
vice president and general manager of the Crystal
Industrial and Communications Products Division.
Before joining Cirrus Logic Mr. Broockman worked at
IBM for 17 years. He held positions including DSP
product line manager for IBM Microelectronics,
product manager of High Bandwidth Systems, SNA
architecture manager, senior technical staff member
for IBM's networking products division, and senior
design engineer, with expertise in bipolar and NMOS
technologies.
Mr. Broockman holds eight U.S. patents and was a
National Science Foundation graduate fellow. He
graduated from the University of Florida with BS and
MS degrees in engineering. |

William J. McFarland
Chief Technical Officer, Atheros
CommunicationsBill McFarland has served as
chief technology officer since October 2004. Until
October 2004 Mr. McFarland served as director of
algorithms and architecture. In this role, he led a
team developing digital signal processing
algorithms, defined radio and digital architectures,
and represented Atheros in regulatory and
standardization efforts.
Prior to joining Atheros, Mr. McFarland spent 14
years at Hewlett-Packard Labs leading research on
mixed-signal ASICs. During his last six years at HP,

spearheaded the key initiative to build a mobile
games business for Yahoo!.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, Graber spent more than
10 years in the interactive entertainment industry.
In 1995, he launched Electronic Arts’ operation in
China and served as the managing director in the
region until 1998. Under Graber’s leadership, EA was
the first company in the video games industry to
enter the China market. Over the next three years,
the division achieved a dominant market position and
record sales each year, despite rampant piracy.
Graber left EA to co-found Muse Corporation, a
provider of a software platform for broadband
entertainment content and services. While too early
for the market, Muse demonstrated the potential for
next-generation “beyond the browser” internet
applications. Graber raised over $12m for the
company and built relationships with leading
broadband and entertainment players in Hollywood and
Asia, as well as major games and technology

Next, Graber developed a background in the mobile
entertainment space, consulting for clients such as

Mr. Greenhall is responsible for corporate strategy
and overall strategic direction at DivX,
which he has grown from a small start-up with a
handful of employees into a thriving, profitable
company on the cutting edge of video technology.
DivX technology has been downloaded over 160 million
times and powers a range of applications from a
secure IP-based video-on-demand solution to
next-generation consumer electronics products. Prior
to founding DivX, Mr. Greenhall was vice
president at MP3.com, where he was responsible for
developing and implementing the company's business
and content development model. He also served as a
strategic consultant with INTERVU, a premiere
streaming media services provider.
Mr. Greenhall graduated magna cum laude
from Harvard Law School in 1997 and summa cum laude
from Texas A&M in 1994. |

Jon Hambidge
Head of Global Marketing, IPWireless, Inc.Jon
Hambidge is the head of global marketing for IPWireless. He
oversees all of IPWireless' marketing efforts as well as the
development of strategic distribution partnerships. Hambidge
joined IPWireless in April 2001 and brings a strong
background and understanding of the broadband services
market.
Prior to joining IPWireless, Hambidge guided the
marketing efforts of NorthPoint Communications, a national
DSL provider in the United States. He oversaw the management
of channel marketing programs for NorthPoint’s more than 200
ISP resellers, the development and launch of NorthPoint’s
successful “Living and Working Broadband” advertising
campaign, and strategic marketing partnerships with
Microsoft, Yahoo, and many other leading Internet companies.
Hambidge was also responsible for the development of the
company's going-to-market strategy as NorthPoint launched
service in over 50 markets nationally. Before NorthPoint,
Hambidge spent over seven years at Schwab, where he was
responsible for the launch of two products in the market.
Hambidge holds an MBA from The Haas School of Business,
the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor of
arts in economics and rhetoric from the University of
California, Berkeley. |

Frank Hanzlik
Managing Director,
Wi-Fi AllianceFrank Hanzlik is
managing director of the Wi-Fi Alliance and an 18 year
veteran of the wireless industry.
Prior to the Wi-Fi Alliance, Frank was vice president of
marketing and product management at Mobilian Corporation, a
fabless semiconductor start-up company. As an early member
of the executive team, he built the marketing and sales
organization, successfully positioning Mobilian as an early
leader in multi-standard wireless chipsets, and launching
the world’s first chipset to support the simultaneous
operation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Before joining Mobilian, Frank was a senior manager at
Dell Computer Corporation, where he built a communications
product marketing organization to support Dell’s $11 billion
dollar consumer and small business product lines. There, he
launched several market leading products in wireless, home
networking, and broadband, including the company’s first
Wi-Fi product in 1999, an industry first.
Prior to Dell, Frank spent 11 years at Motorola in a
variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the
sales and marketing of cellular and land mobile radio
products. Frank holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s
J.L. Kellogg School of Management and an undergraduate in
Business Administration from the University of Illinois,
Urbana/Champaign. He has been a member of the Wi-Fi Alliance
since 2000. |

Ronny Haraldsvik

brings 15 years of strategy and global marketing
experiences to Flarion. His focus is to market
Flarion to market-makers and industry influencers,
through analysts and press relations and other
tactics for market education. Mr. Haraldsvik has
held executive positions with several Fortune 250
technology companies.
Before joining Flarion in Fall of 2001, Mr.
Haraldsvik was the vice president of marketing and
field communications with Nortel Networks, the
Shasta IP Services business unit. In this role, Mr.
Haraldsvik was responsible for world wide
positioning of the Shasta 5000 Broadband Service
Node (BSN) and awareness building for value added,
network-based services that drive profitable
Internet business cases.
