January 29, 2003 - Parks Associates and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) have announced the agenda for their upcoming CONNECTIONS™ 2003 executive conference and industry show, held May 7-9, 2003 at the Fairmont San Jose in Northern California.

CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase is a fast-growing international executive forum dedicated to digital home technologies including broadband-related services, residential gateways, home networks, digital entertainment and home management solutions.

"CONNECTIONS™ has always been about innovation in terms of delivering information and providing a unique networking and information forum for today's technology leaders," said Tricia Parks, president of Parks Associates. "Our 2003 conference is no different, as we will focus specifically on five knowledge areas expected to have immediate impact on the growth of this industry. We anticipate that attendees and sponsors alike will leave this year's show with a new perspective on this exciting market."

Entering its seventh year, CONNECTIONS™ has five Knowledge Tracks focusing on the consumer, industry and regulatory drivers for growth in the connected home industry. This year's Knowledge Tracks include Entertainment at Home, Wireless Connectivity, The Visionaries, Home and Hearth and Distribution.

CONNECTIONS™ features speakers, panelists, and representatives from the entire value chain of digital technology and provides comprehensive discussions on the technical and marketing challenges facing the industry as it develops and sells applications, products and services to create the digital home.

"As consumers beef up their homes with the latest in home networking, information and entertainment, the need for advanced digital home technology is facing strong consumer demand," said Karen Chupka, vice president of events and conferences for CEA, the producer of the International CES. "The CONNECTIONS™ program offers a great venue to learn about the latest trends helping fuel this technological revolution within the home."

CONNECTIONS™ attracts leaders from an array of industries, including market research, energy services, broadband Internet access and services, entertainment, appliances and computer manufacturers. Attendees include strategic planners, product developers and marketers who are developing and selling advanced products and services for consumers in the residential market.
