ABOUT ESCA

The third annual Entertainment Supply Chain Academy (ESCA) is focusing its two-day annual conference this year on "Maximizing Home Entertainment Sales & Profits in Turbulent Times." The ESCA event hosts 250-350 executives from the entertainment studios and has become the home entertainment industry’s annual business conference responsible for driving efficiencies in the delivery of physical and digital entertainment.

This year's program will be organized into three individual sessions:

* Build Blu: will present ways to increase sales and profitability of the new format while growing consumer satisfaction for the HD media buying experience.  Paul Scott, Executive Vice President, Sony DADC is conference chair for this session.

* Go Green: will identify how sustainability is both an ecological and economical issue that impacts the entire physical media supply chain.  Larry Wilk,Vice President, Worldwide Operations, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, is conference chair for this session.

* Focus on the Future: will explore opportunities that utilize existing and emergent technologies to generate ROI for partners in both physical and digital home entertainment.  Darcy Antonellis, President, Warner Bros. Technical Operations, is conference chair for this session.

The entertainment supply chain is center stage in Hollywood and this year’s ESCA is more important than ever as a platform for proven solutions, new directions and innovative developments.
