Andy Atwell has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare and life science markets in both business innovation and research roles. As Exe. Dir. of New Business Development and Corporate Strategy for Omron Healthcare Inc., Andy engages early stage companies through open innovation partnerships to expand Omron's medical device business to include disease management. Andy is also an Executive in Residence for The Angels' Forum Venture Capital and Private Equity group advising on digital/mobile health investment opportunities. Prior to Omron, Andy spent nearly a decade at Samsung Electronics, the last 5 leading the digital health practice for Samsungâ's Global Innovation Center and as a Principal Investor in their corporate venture capital NEXT fund. The balance of his time at Samsung was spent driving strategic business development for Samsung's clinical and consumer healthcare initiatives. Andy is also a former board member of the Continua Health Alliance (now HIMSS Personal Connected Health Alliance) a membership-driven not-for-profit focused on developing an eco-system of interoperable personal health devices. Andy has also held business development roles at Cepheid, a FDA cleared diagnostic and medical device company, and Scientist positions at Agilent and Hewlett Packard Laboratories. He holds 2 patents from his work on diagnostic DNA micro-arrays while at HP Labs. Andy earned his bachelors in biological sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara and completed the venture capital executive program at the University of California Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Dr. Amnon Gavish serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development at American Well and is responsible for strategic partnerships and development of new market segments for the company’s products and services. Prior to joining American Well in December 2015, Dr. Gavish served as Senior Vice President of Vertical Solutions at Vidyo, a leading provider of software-based cloud-based video conferencing service, where he was responsible for the company’s go to market strategy in vertical markets with an emphasize on the healthcare market. Before joining Vidyo in October 2009, Amnon held various business development and technology leadership positions in technology companies with focus on communications. In 1996 he co-founded Surf Communication Solutions and served as its Chief Executive Officer for 8 years. Doug Lee Doug Lee, Vice President of Digital Health, Samsung

Doug Lee is Vice President at Samsung Strategy & Innovation Center, where he focuses on new business creation in digital health through incubation, investment, and M&A. Previously, he was Vice President, Strategy & Business Development of Global Services at Siemens Healthineers, a worldwide leader in medical imaging and laboratory diagnostics, from 2016 to 2017. Mr. Lee was Co-Founder and CEO of OrthoMEMS (and its AcuMEMS subsidiary), a medical technology company based on MEMS, from 2004 to 2016 and served as CEO of The Dr. Spock Company, a venture-backed consumer digital media company for children’s health, from 2000 to 2003. Concurrently, Mr. Lee was Managing Director of Premier Medical Partner Fund LP, a healthcare venture capital fund, from 1997 to 2002. Before Premier, he was CFO and Vice President of the new ventures and corporate business development group at Guidant Corporat on (NYSE: GDT) from 1995 to 1997 and at publicly-traded Genelabs Technologies (NASDAQ: GNLB) from 1994 to 1995. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lee was an investment banker at Montgomery Securities, Goldman Sachs, and Kemper Securities.

Lainie Muller is a 15-year veteran of the technology industry and an emerging voice on Smart Solutions for Aging in Place and Connected Caregiving.

Lainie is Director of Wellness at Alarm.com, a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: ALRM)and the nation’s leading cloud-based platform for the smart home. The Wellness solution leverages Smart Home technology to support Aging in Place and independent living for older adults and those living with disabilities. Wellness, an integrated element of Alarm.com’s comprehensive ecosystem of home management technology, is currently in use in residential homes, senior living communities, schools and in remote caregiving programs funded by Medicare and Medicaid.  The product has received critical acclaim from The New York Times, Kiplingers, CNN, NPR and TechCrunch.

Chris A. Otto is a healthcare executive with over 20 years of technology management and new business development experience, with a career focus on remote health monitoring. Chris is a technology entrepreneur and has spent the majority of his career in and around aging-in-place technology companies. He co-founded Halo Monitoring in 2008, where he and the company launched the first automatic fall detection solution in the marketplace. In 2012, MobileHelp acquired Halo Monitoring including the fall detection technology and he joined the MobileHelp team at that time as part of the acquisition and went on to co-found MobileHelp's healthcare division - Clear Arch Health. Chris holds twelve U.S. patents, with others pending. He earned both his bachelor's and master's in computer engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Tad presently serves as a Global Director in the Internet of Things organization within AT&T.  He is responsible for coordinating business development efforts with medical device manufacturers, and developing best-in-class solutions for AT&T’s healthcare customers and partners.  His team also works with customers to develop innovative medical solutions utilizing AT&T’s Healthcare Foundry and associated engineering assets.
 
Tad’s experience has focused on development and delivery of solutions within Fortune 500 Companies, Healthcare Entities of every type and Government and Education Institutions.
