The Broadband Race: Cable operators shouldn't smugly think that they have it locked up
A new report by Parks Associates of Dallas looks at cable modems vs. DSL in four key markets: New York, Atlanta, San Jose, and Phoenix. Based on 6,600 interviews in these markets, the report concludes that:
Consumers are more aware of cable-modem service than DSL. However, those aware of both find DSL more desirable than cable-modem service.
