Sprint Has Teamed Up With Amazon To Allow Subscribers A Chance to Sign Up For Amazon Prime On A Monthly Subscription

According to Parks Associates, 68% of smartphone subscribers stream music daily, 71% of them watch short clips of video, and 40% stream TV shows and movies. Given that 73% of Sprint customers use their phones to listen to music daily, this promotion seems to be quite well targeted.

Apple iPhone Still America’s Favorite; Samsung Lags Slightly Behind

According to Parks Associates, Samsung follows Apple with a 31% US smartphone market share and is the most popular Android original equipment manufacturer (OEM). LG is on the third position, with a 10% market share. Other OEMs such as Taiwan’s HTC and Motorola have a contribution of 5% and 4%, respectively, in the US smartphone sales.
