Kobie: Airline Information's Airline Merchandising/Mega Event

   Research shows that on average, the loyalty program membership makes up 35% of a company’s total customer base. And, of that 35% -- approximately one-third redeem rewards.
    The Number of Smartphone users worldwide is predicted to exceed 1 billion by 2014 (Parks Associates, 2010)and more than 15% of travelers who book a flight 24 hours or less in advance do so via mobile. Both stats show how smartphones have given new power to the "on-the-go" traveler in recent years.
    74% of online retailers have already, or are currently, developing a mobile strategy (Forrester).
    Airlines across the globe need to follow the lead of the retail industry to expand their loyalty offerings, improve customer experience and generate new revenue streams.
