Utilities & service providers explore new value-added services and partnership opportunities in entertainment and home controls

Deutsche Telekom to keynote executive conference CONNECTIONS™ Europe, hosted by Parks Associates, November 13-14, Amsterdam

Parks Associates today announced the speakers for CONNECTIONS™ Europe: Monetizing the Digital Home, which features a keynote from Deutsche Telekom and research sessions on home automation, connected-home value-added services, OTT video, and personal cloud solutions.

The executive conference, produced by Parks Associates in association with ESNA on 13-14 November at the Crowne Plaza South in Amsterdam, explores new business opportunities in connected-home and entertainment value-added services for service providers, energy utilities, retailers, and CE manufacturers.

“The broadband markets in Western Europe have matured,” said Stuart Sikes, president, Parks Associates. "Over two-thirds of French and Spanish users go online daily, and even among the struggling countries Spain and Italy, penetration of fixed broadband is above 60%. Adding value-added services on top of communication services is an important area of economic growth, and CONNECTIONS™ Europe features high-level speakers addressing the next innovations in IP home services and CE usage.”
